  has yourjehovahs witness experience made ypur belief in god stronger or weaker?.

  my attitude to god and religon no longer plays an active part in my life.

  what i mean by not playing an active part is that i never prayer for help when in trouble or understanding as to lifes purpose and a personal relationhip with god.. maybe because iam scared to take the risk my prayers might not be answered and i d be disillusioned.although if things go right i dont mind saying "thankyou" i will never say "please".

  Secret To Life

  to me it seems the highest form of life is to find something you love and give your life to it.. with me its beer, music and painting.. but the things i love have given me everything.

  freedom, peace, success in my profession as an artist.

  finally and most importantly 12 years of marriage.. what are the things you love ?

  but why was the format of the theocratic ministry school talk 2 and 4 changed last year..

  just for interest i wonder if anyone call advise me why the no 2 and 4 talks were recently changed.. for example talk 2 used to be personal comment and bible reading.

  now its just a reading of the bible.

  Truthful to your Study conductor.

  if you were still in contact with the person you studied with in comming in to the borg.. did you (a) tell him why you no longer feal the same about the borg.

  (b)how did he take it.. i personally lost all respect for the man.

  basically it was ovbiouse he had seriouse doubts.

  How the board has helped.

  as an artist i try to create emotional responses through abstruct paintings.

  sometimes an element of pain or hurt i felt is represented on canvas and the pain or hurt is then gone from inside me forever, but remains for ever on the canvas and i hope is felt and understood by the viewer.. i wish i could do the same with the written word so that i could really make myself understood to the reader.

  the same was true when i started painting, what i painted was oftern poor but because i was always encouraged by people who never mocked my terrible efforts but concentrated on the positives i developed emotionally as well as an artist.. i think the same is true of many on this forum they have been hurt by the w.t.

  SURVIVORS

  the feelings and attitudes of people who have been victims of the org cannot be covered under one umbrella.. because in comparrison to many here my exit from the ogg was painless i hope my posts and comments will not lack compassion or show intolerence to those less fortunate.. personally i see all ex-witnesses as survivors, not victims .because in spite of there suffering they have achived exactly what the org triead to prevent.freedom from the mind control .

  of couse for many the terrible emotional scares remain.the price of seperation from family members ect are high to pay.

  and it is because of such emotional pain that boards like this should be given credit for the major- role they play in healing those that need healing, educating those that need educating and supporting those that need support.

  My Witness Experience

  iam grateful for my witness experience.

  for the personal development the experience has given me.i belive the experience has made me a better man not a lesser man.. admittadly any positivnes that has come out of the negative is at great cost.

  that i have been more angry than sad.that i have been unable to educate and warn those indoctrinated in this lie.

  the truth is you (people) on this board would be generally interested in knowing about me as a person.that says a lot.
